Our story begins when we were young… 12 and 15! As family friends, we only crossed paths a few times per year. When Bobby got back from Iraq in 2003, his mom hosted a “Welcome Home” party for him. I (Kierra) had just graduated from high school and decided to go on a whim! We went to Starbucks that night and talked until 2am, beginning our 23-year story!

Through two more deployments, we wrote letters and fell in love. After the Marines, Bobby decided to become a firefighter and began the 13-week Fire Academy. After 4 years of dating, we got married barefoot on the beach in San Clemente, California.

As newlyweds we began looking for a new church to begin our life together. After a few years, we sensed God calling us into marriage ministry. We began walking along with couples through counseling and supporting them on their journey toward healing and restoration. Over the years, we led marriage classes and developed a curriculum that was used by our church for more than a decade. Bobby and I also hosted and facilitated a marriage-focused small group, launched a marriage mentoring program, and organized church-wide date nights to bring couples closer together. Serving alongside each other in this ministry has been one of our greatest joys. We are certified through Life University as Life Coaches with an emphasis on Militay and First Responder Mental Health. We are currently working on Contemperary Marriage and Family Advocacy. There is nothing more rewarding than partnering with God and witnessing marriages transformed and strengthened with a renewed passion for the Lord.

Five years ago, God pressed on our hearts to move to Middle Tennessee. We have met many families who felt they were led here as well, but don’t know why. We have faithfully continued our mission of mentoring couples  God places in our path. Drawing from our experiences from Military, Firefighter, and Ministry background, it has been a blessing to meet couples where they are and walk with them.

We homeschool our three kids. We live in the country on 10 acres with big dreams to dabble in the homesteading lifestyle, while still enjoying the city style when we decide to venture out!
